Remodify Terms of Service

Effective Date: July 15, 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Remodify’s products and services (“Services”), you (“User”) agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

• “Provider”: Trade professional, contractor, or business using Remodify to offer services to Property Owners.
• “Property Owner”: Individual or business using Remodify to request, find, hire, and pay Providers.

If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Scope of Services

Remodify provides an AI-powered platform for facilitating property service connections, including:

• For Property Owners: Project requests, Provider discovery, communication, project management, and payments via RemodPay.
• For Providers: Lead matching, quoting, project management, payment collection, and business growth tools.

Remodify acts as a technology facilitator—not a licensed contractor and not a party to contracts between Providers and Property Owners.

3. User Eligibility & Registration

You must be 18+ or legal age of majority and authorized if acting on behalf of a business. Users are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and securing access credentials.

4. Roles and Responsibilities

4.1 Property Owners

• Provide honest project information and timely payments.
• Responsible for verifying Providers' credentials.

4.2 Providers

• Ensure accurate business information, required insurance/licenses, and professional conduct.
• Responsible for fulfillment and quality of services delivered.

4.3 Remodify

• Provides the platform and associated tools.
• Not responsible for service quality, contract performance, or user disputes (see Section 10).

5. Booking, Payments, and Fees

• Property Owners pay for services as invoiced via RemodPay.
• Providers adhere to platform fee schedules and payout terms ([refer to Pricing page]).
• Remodify may suspend service for non-payment, fraud, or disputes.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

• Users retain rights to uploaded content; grant Remodify a license solely for platform operation.
• All platform technology and workflows belong exclusively to Remodify.

7. Data Privacy & Security

• All use is subject to the [Remodify Privacy Policy]. Do not upload third-party data without consent.
• Remodify employs industry-standard security protocols but does not guarantee absolute security.

8. Third-Party Services

Remodify may integrate with independent third-party tools; is not responsible for their availability or compliance.

9. Ratings, Reviews & Reputation

• Property Owners may review Providers; Providers may respond appropriately.
• Reviews must be truthful, respectful; violations subject to moderation/suspension.

10. Disputes and Resolution

• Remodify is not liable for disputes between Providers and Property Owners.
• Remodify may offer dispute mediation at its discretion for issues involving payments or platform use.
• Abusive or fraudulent conduct results in immediate suspension or removal.

11. Warranties & Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
Remodify does not guarantee Provider quality, work outcome, or any specific result. Users accept all risks in engagements.

12. Limitation of Liability

Remodify’s total liability is limited to the greater of:
(a) amounts paid to Remodify for the specific transaction, or
(b) $500.
No responsibility for indirect or consequential damages.

13. Indemnity

Providers and Property Owners shall indemnify Remodify against claims arising from breaches of these Terms, law, or third-party rights, or resulting from their content or conduct.

14. Suspension & Termination

Accounts may be suspended or terminated for violations, non-payment, fraud, or misuse. Data retention and handling follow policy and applicable law.

15. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time; notice via the platform or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing Law & Arbitration

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Disputes not resolved informally will be submitted to binding arbitration in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, unless you qualify for small claims court.

17. General Provisions

• This is the entire agreement unless superseded by custom contract.
• Invalid provisions do not affect the remainder.
• Assignment/waiver restrictions apply as previously outlined.
